100 Years Ago... Today?

Howard Pyle died on November 9, 1911, in Italy at 4.30 a.m. - so it was still November 8th in Wilmington, Delaware, no?

  1. Ian: In your research have you found any reasons as to why Pyle's remains were never brought back to the States?

  2. Apparently, it was Pyle’s own wish to be cremated and the ashes deposited in a Florentine cemetery.
